Adrian Shapiro is the Co-Founder and Executive Producer of Scoundrel, one of Australia and New Zealand’s most dynamic production companies.

An internationally acclaimed film and activation producer, Adrian is renowned for his ability to bring ambitious creative visions to life across every discipline of storytelling. With more than 25 years of experience spanning both production and agency roles, he has built a reputation as one of the most respected and successful producers in the region. 

Under Adrian’s leadership, Scoundrel has also been recognised as one of the world’s top creative powerhouses. The company has been named CICLOPE Production Company of the Year in both 2023 and 2025, Shots Production Company of the Year in 2023, AWARD Production Company of the Year in 2023, and Axis Production Company of the Year in 2019 – cementing its reputation for excellence on both regional and global stages. 

Adrian’s own work has consistently earned recognition worldwide, collecting some of the industry’s highest honours: a Titanium and Grand Prix at Cannes Lions, multiple Gold Lions, a Grand Clio, Gold Spikes, Grand Prix at Axis, Grand Prix titles at CICLOPE and CICLOPE Asia Pacific, and Gold Pencils at D&AD, among numerous other international awards.
