With over 25 years in the Australian advertising industry, Emma Thompson is a highly respected Executive Producer whose work has been recognised at leading international award festivals including Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, D&AD, AWARD Awards, Axis Awards, CICLOPE Festival and London International Awards.
Emma is Executive Producer and Head of Production at Photoplay Films, consistently ranked among Australia’s top production companies. She leads a dynamic team of producers and directors, delivering integrated campaigns for major brands. Her portfolio spans film, television, digital, content, experiential, VR and stills – reflecting both creative versatility and production leadership at scale.
Prior to joining Photoplay 11 years ago, Emma built an extensive freelance career working internationally across advertising, documentary, television and feature films. Across every medium, she champions the craft of storytelling – combining strategic oversight with creative intuition.
