CICLOPE Asia Pacific is a regional edition of the global CICLOPE Awards. It is an annual showcase and celebration of the very best of the year’s commercials, music videos and short films; and since the first edition in 2018, is the leading Award honoring the people behind the craft in the region.

Each year, a selected panel of industry experts from across Asia and the Pacific award the work setting the benchmark for excellence in over 20 different categories including: Direction, Cinematography, Production Design, Editing, VFX, Animation, Music and more.

Entries for the 2026 Awards will open early in the new year.

Any production and post production companies, creative studios, advertising agencies, brands, and independent professionals from across the Asia-Pacific region may enter the Awards.

The call for entries will open early in 2026. Submissions must be made via the CICLOPE Asia Pacific Awards platform.

 

The suggested formats for videos are MPEG4, MPEG2 or MOV files, with a maximum file size of 1GB. The recommended compression rate is 15-20 Mbits. Please do not include any special characters (& / * / “”) in the name of the file.

English subtitles are mandatory in all categories except Music Videos.

Please note that entries must remain anonymous, so all credits and logos should be removed before uploading the video.

Entries should be no longer than 20 minutes in length.

Yes, all entrant companies should include a brief description of the project (max. 700 characters) alongside their submission, in order to help the Jury gain better understanding of the work they’re judging.

The supporting material can be uploaded while completing your submission in the entry platform.

CICLOPE Asia Pacific’s judging process will consist of two rounds. In the first round, the Jury will independently watch and rank all entries on the online Awards platform. The highest-ranked entries in each category will be considered finalists, and will be published in the shortlist. In the second judging round, the Jury will discuss the finalist pieces in a video-call meeting and award the best work/s in each category. The Jury can also award a Grand Prix for the best work of the year in each section.
