Victoria Singh-Thompson is an award-winning Australian director working across commercials and film. Their work has been recognized by YDA, CICLOPE Asia Pacific, Shots, and the 1.4 Awards, and featured by Vimeo Staff Picks, Director’s Library, Short of the Week, and Director’s Notes.
Victoria’s short films have screened at prestigious festivals including Palm Springs ShortFest, London Short Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, Outfest Fusion, Inside Out, St Kilda Festival and Flickerfest.
They are represented by the acclaimed production company Revolver and are currently developing their debut feature with support from Screen NSW.
Victoria’s work is shaped by lived experiences of disability and queerness, alongside a cultural background rooted in their Fiji-Indian family heritage. They bring a distinctive voice to the screen, crafting grounded, authentic, and emotionally resonant work with striking visual precision.
