Matt Chandler is the newly-appointed Creative Officer at Clemenger BBDO. Prior to this he was the Chief Creative Officer at DDB Sydney, where his leadership resulted in a sustained run of creative excellence and global recognition. He joined DDB as a Senior Copywriter in 2013, and progressed through the agency to lead the business, shaping a culture of ambitious, effective work.
Under his direction, DDB Sydney secured multiple Agency of the Year titles, including Cannes Regional Network of the Year 2025, AWARD Awards Network of the Year (2022 & 2025) and Campaign Brief Agency of the Year in 2025. In Matt’s tenure as CCO the agency also won an unprecedented twelve new business pitches for some of Australia’s most iconic brands.
