Born in Los Angeles, California, he was immersed in music from an early age, influenced by his mother, a local piano instructor. A Japanese-American composer, he specializes in creating captivating original music for visual media. He likens composing to painting, with each note, harmony, and instrument forming the Color of Music. Through his compositions, he elevates visual storytelling, adding depth and artistic expression to every project.
In 2009, he graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston and began his career in advertising music at JSM Music in New York. In 2017, he moved to Tokyo to establish the Tokyo branch of MassiveMusic, the world’s largest advertising music production company. Drawing on his international creative expertise, he now produces and oversees the creation of more than 270 pieces of advertising music annually, with a global reach extending beyond Japan. His guiding principle is simple: “To make the world SOUND better”.
