Penny Brown is Head of Production at Droga5, part of Accenture Song, in Sydney. She began her career at Ogilvy London before relocating to Australia, where she spent a decade with Publicis Mojo. She joined Droga5 (formerly The Monkeys) in 2016 and since then has led the production team and overseen many highly awarded and long running brand campaigns for clients such as Qantas, Telstra, IAG, Meat & Livestock Australia and Berlei, as well as a Cannes Titanium Grand Prix win for the groundbreaking First Digital Nation project for the Government of Tuvalu, as well as Cannes Grand Prix & a Grand Clio win for Play It Safe for Sydney Opera House.
Over her career her work has been recognized with gold and above at Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, One Show, D&AD, LIA, Shots, CICLOPE and AWARD. Since joining Droga5 (formerly The Monkeys), she has helped the agency win Campaign Brief Agency of the Year three times as well as 2023 Australian Creative Agency of the Year at Spikes Asia, D&AD, Cannes Lions, One Show and Shots. Penny is also a seasoned Assisterhood Mentor.
Her approach to production is driven by a core belief in the importance of creativity, which fuels her unwavering passion for bringing great ideas to life.
